Reflection on Audience Awarneness

1.Linda Flower stresses the importance of audience awareness in composing while
Elbow concludes that the question/issue with audience awareness is when. How would you
explain the connections between these two points of view? The connection is that you can block the audience but overall you have to take into consideration who is reading your article.  Being aware of your audience you have an idea of you to target and will make your writing experience easier.

2.In general, what have you learned from Linda Flower’s and Peter Elbow’s article as a
writer and as a reader? In general what I have learned from both authors is that they both have different but unique techniques in writing.  Linda Flowers has showed me the importance in how to read a article and go behind the context and get the hidden message.  She has also taught me that as a writer you have to be able make your writing understandable for the reader, and that as writer we can sometimes be little selfish and not take the reader into consideration.  Peter elbow has taught me that the vary technique that i use when speaking of closing my eyes is common for blocking out the audience.  When you block out the audience to you enable yourself to write without the worry of your audience.
